SAN FRANCISCO, USA // Lisel Welden is Vice President of Marketing at Bleacher Report where she is charged with the development and execution of the brand strategy and building a cross-functional marketing organization.
Over the last 11 years, Welden’s career has ranged from serving as Global Retail Brand Director for Nike’s Men’s Training and Brand Jordan to VP of Brand Marketing at Lyft.
During her Nike tenure she led brand strategy for beloved and marquee Nike product lines including men’s training, soccer, running, and Brand Jordan. She also served as a Board Member of Nike’s Ever Higher Fund, which supports organizations that leverage the power of sport to maximize the potential of underserved youth. AS VP of Brand Marketing at Lyft, she oversaw partner marketing, entertainment marketing, social media marketing, consumer insights and overall brand strategy. During her tenure, she led the Lyft marketing team through the development of content programs, editorial campaigns and its first national television campaign.
Welden holds a bachelor’s in Art History from Williams College and an MBA from Duke University. She is a football fan at heart, but you can also find her on running trails or hiking with her husband and two children.
