LOS ANGELES, USA // As Vice President, Marketing Strategy for The Walt Disney Studios, Samantha Garry Rosenberg is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns for the Disney live-action and Lucasfilm slate, including recent films such as “Maleficent,” “Cinderella,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “The Jungle Book.”  Upcoming campaigns being overseen by Samantha include “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” and Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” “Star Wars: Episode IX,” and the untitled Han Solo Star Wars anthology film.

Working closely with all divisions of the marketing department, distribution, production and cross-lines of business teams, Samantha champions big ideas and innovative thinking to drive consistency and integration with overarching marketing campaign goals to drive box office success.

A 13-year Disney veteran, she has held positions of increasing responsibility within the digital and publicity groups, beginning at the intern level, prior to joining the marketing strategy group.

Samantha received her degree in Public Relations, with an emphasis in Communications and the Entertainment industry from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School.
