BALTIMORE, USA // Andy Donkin joined the Under Armour team as Chief Marketing Officer in August 2016. He is responsible for leading global, brand and messaging strategies and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively support the brand’s products, technology, athletes, and teams.
Donkin works cross-functionally with all sports categories, retail, e-commerce, Connected Fitness, product and innovation teams to develop multi-channel marketing that helps drive Under Armour’s growth.
Prior to his role at Under Armour, Donkin served as the Head of Worldwide Brand and Mass Marketing at Amazon from 2011 to 2016 were he was responsible for developing the Amazon, Prime and Kindle brands. In this role, he drove global mass marketing plans for Amazon’s category and product teams.
Before Amazon, Donkin held various leadership positions within Travelocity, Primal Ventures, Tickets.com, Reactrix Systems, Inc., There.com, and Colgate Palmolive.
Donkin graduated from Boston University Questrom School of Business with a Master’s in Business and from the University of Rode Island with a Master’s in Marketing.
