NEW YORK, USA // Carolyn O’Neill believes that healthcare advertising is about always getting better: creatively, professionally, and in how we impact the world.

Since joining CDM New York in 1999, Carolyn has been a creative and strategic lead on specialty brands, blockbuster brands, and everything in between.

She has shaped innovative brand campaigns, led global launches, and created market-moving ideas for consumers, healthcare professionals, advocacy, and payers.

Carolyn has taken a lead role in shaping the CDM offering in rare disease, including the development of our unique Community DNA™ approach. She is currently launching a groundbreaking therapy for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the number-one genetic killer of infants and children.

Carolyn has been a magnet for talent that shares her sense of purpose and passion for the work we do. She has developed award-winning creative for advocacy groups, including the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the American Heart Association, and spearheads agency support of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

In June 2016, Carolyn was selected to participate in an international innovation hack sponsored by Reckitt Benckiser (RB) and Save the Children.

Carolyn graduated from Brown University with a double major in Human Biology and English Literature. In 2011, she received the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star award.

Carolyn lives in Connecticut, where she can usually be found running—when not training, she keeps pace with her 2 young, spirited boys.
