3) Dior “For Love”

Track: “Chandelier” by Sia

Go on a rollercoaster of emotions with Dior’s “For Love” spot with Natalie Portman. Embracing the empowering “Chandelier” by Sia, Dior earns the number three spot this week.

5) Apple “Roll”

Track: “Misbehaving” by Labrinth

A skateboarder rips tricks through a train station, a couple in slow motion, a few upside down, wreaking imaginary havoc throughout this fun spot. And somehow, his airpods stay in place. The track, “Misbehaving” by Labrinth is at the heart of the commercial, perfectly in tune with every flip and shuffle, and people are loving it.

6) Apple “Unveiled”

Agency: TBWA Chiat Day

Track: “Area” by MagnusTheMagnus

MagnusTheMagnus’s “Area” makes you feel like something big is about to happen, like you need to pay attention, which makes it the ideal track for an Apple spot with the name “Unveiled.” The underlying notes of this track are giving me serious Stranger Things vibes, in the best possible way, and Shazam users are definitely on board.

7) Samsung “Do Bigger Things”

Track: “The Power” by Sweet Spirit

Samsung wants you to “Come feel the power!” in its latest “Do Bigger Things” spot, featuring “The Power” by Sweet Spirit. The spot flips through new features, all of them evoking power and fun, including using the stylus to draw wings on a classic jump-off-the-pier-with-arms-wide photo. What more can they say? They want you to “do bigger things” – with a Samsung, of course.

 

 

8) BMW “So Alive”

Track: “So Alive” by The Goo Goo Dolls

BMW’s “So Alive” races onto the Shazam chart for another week.

9) Samsung “I Love You”

Agency: Weiden+Kennedy Portland

Track: “Similau” by Peggy Lee

A love story. By Samsung. This spot takes the classic our-eyes-met-across-the-room scenario into the future by adding its own Galaxy Note8 to the story. And the vintage track “Similau” by Peggy Lee brings the commercial to a whole new level, crescendoing at just the right moment to complement the adorable “I think I love you” live message.

10) Amazon “Lion”

Back on the Shazam chart this week is Amazon’s “Lion.” Arielle Paul’s “You and Me” has everyone Shazaming for the full track.
