PARIS, FRANCE // Pierrette Diaz is Vice President and Executive Creative of Y&R Paris for almost 5 years. Within this time, she has changed the traditional agency model, bringing her distinctive creativity to all brands.
Starting out an art director at EuroRSCG (Havas), she then spent 13 years at DDB Paris, creating award-winning campaigns for Volkswagen, Nike, Audi, Brandt or Tiji TV.
She was also the lead creative for Lipton (Unilever), followed by a stint at Adam&Eve DDB London before starting her new position at the Y&R Group.
She has worked on the biggest brands of luxury, sports, automotive and consumer goods: Dior, Guerlain, Boucheron, Nike, Adidas, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, Honda, Lipton, Bel, Volvic.
Making brands shine is her real passion. "The role of a creative is to feel and understand the DNA and culture of a brand to reveal its potential. It is by building the reputation of a brand that builds that of an agency." She creates ideas that talk to people and that people talk about. Like Volvic’s ‘awakening the volcano’ as well as Minibabybel (Bel Group) award-winning campaign.
She has won numerous International awards including 30 Cannes Lions (2 Gold Volkswagen), 6 D&AD (2 recent Pencils for Volvic and Babybel), 8 Clios (1 Gold for IFAW), 1 Gold Effie Europe and Grand Prix Effie France (Babybel), Eurobest, One Show, NYFestival, NY ADC, LIA, Epica, Grand Prix Stratégies (TIJI TV) et CDA France. She has been a jury member several times at Cannes, D&AD, Clios, Eurobest, Effies, Grand prix Strategies and the French ADC.
