NEW YORK, USA // In 2014, FC Bayern Munich appointed Rudolf Vidal Managing Director of the United States, driving and overseeing the legendary German soccer team’s operations in North America. The team became the very first European soccer club to open an office in the U.S. dedicated to raising awareness of FC Bayern, growing the fan base and forming mutually beneficial partnerships. In 2016, Vidal became President of the Americas as the club expands operations to Central and South America.

Prior to joining FC Bayern, Vidal served as Vice President of Business Development and Monetization for Deutsche Telekom AG.

Previously, he managed sports marketing initiatives for PUMA, where he oversaw the company’s 2006 World Cup campaign.

Earlier in his career, Vidal practiced economic law and founded a consulting firm providing services to sports-specific clients.
