NEW YORK, USA // As SVP Innovation & Global Business Lead, Christine heads Momentum’s global American Express business. Her team crosses multiple countries and platforms - including sports and entertainment sponsorship, B2B & small business, tradeshows, and American Express’s expansive entertainment presale platform. Christine joined Momentum in February 2013 from Big Fuel Communications where she was the General Manager of this start-up social media shop.
Prior to Big Fuel, Christine spent five years at Ogilvy & Mather where she ran the integrated American Express US advertising business. She was also responsible for Members Project, and the global website redesign efforts for the Platinum & Centurion cards. In addition to AMEX, her time at Ogilvy included integrated leadership roles on the Kraft, DHL, and DuPont businesses.
Christine started her career when digital was still “new media,” developing CD-ROMs and later, first generation web sites for companies such as Time Warner and the Gartner Group at Frankfurt Balkind, a New York design firm. She went on to work at Modem Media and Think New Ideas, was Vice President of Interactive Services at Jupiter Communications and finally ran the New York Office for The Martin Agency, overseeing digital marketing activities ranging from integrated programs for UPS; to advertising, viral and email marketing for Olympus, Hanes and Roche Diagnostics.
