LONDON, UK // Jamie was born in the UK, but began his advertising career in Johannesburg at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris. In 2003, Jamie moved to Dubai, where he won the Middle East’s first Cannes Gold Lion for his work on Sony.
After a long stint in Cape Town, he returned to his childhood roots by moving to the UK, where he is currently EMEA Creative Director at McCann London, leading the Microsoft and Xbox accounts along with his creative partner Sanjiv Mistry. Soon after taking over the reigns, they created the ‘Survival Billboard’ and ‘Squadvertiser’ work for Xbox, which went on to win 18 Lions, helping McCann London to be the most awarded UK agency in Cannes. ‘Survival Billboard’ went on to be ranked as the 2nd most-awarded outdoor ad in the history of the Gunn Report.
Jamie is passionate about ideas that embrace integrated and media-neutral thinking. He has won top awards at all the major international shows, highlights being a Cannes Grand Prix, 11 Cannes Gold Lions, One Show Best in Discipline, D&AD pencils, Grand Prize at New York Festivals, Grand Prix at LIA, several Clio Golds and Webbys.
Jamie is an ardent vegan who, in his down time, loves playing shooting games on Xbox. The irony is not lost on him.
