In his 20+ years at Octagon, Shea has built the agency’s business through a client-first approach and developed a broad range of sports marketing and consulting expertise. John brings a unique understanding of how to help brands connect with consumers through sports and entertainment and has collaborated with all of the major sports leagues and properties in the Americas.
His reputation for objective, facts-based management of his people and his clients’ programs have resulted in client partnerships that span decades including Mastercard, BMW, Allstate, Bank of America, Cisco and others. In recent years, Shea’s team has added Delta Air Lines, Taco Bell and Harman/JBL to its client roster.
In both 2008 and 2009, Shea was awarded the SportsBusiness Journal’s “Forty Under 40” recognition.
