Global Consumer Chief Marketing Officer
Citi

NEW YORK, USA // As Global Consumer Chief Marketing Officer at Citi, Jennifer oversees a team focused on crafting distinctive, impactful campaigns that differentiate Citi’s industry leading products and services and drive long-term brand loyalty with consumers across the globe.

Since being named to this role in 2017, Jennifer has evolved the look, tone and feel of the global consumer brand through emotive marketing campaigns and innovative experiential opportunities. Under her leadership, Citi continues to increase its valuation as one of the world’s most valuable brands.

For example, she has given music – a core part of the bank’s DNA – a starring role in Citi’s advertising campaigns. Recently, she launched a new campaign featuring a diverse slate of music ranging from Etta James to the Pixies designed to connect emotionally with customers and elicit optimism about welcoming what’s next.

Also, over the last decade, Jennifer has built Citi Entertainment into one of the largest consumer access platforms of any brand. In 2018 alone, Citi offered card members access to over 12,000 events with the world’s biggest artists including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, U2, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Chris Stapleton, Billy Joel and many more.

She also has oversight of Citi’s key alliance with Live Nation – including a recent expansion of the partnership into key Asian markets – and is responsible for strategic development and execution of all branded entertainment properties and initiatives (Citi Concert Series on TODAY).

Jennifer is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been widely quoted in media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, Ad Age, Los Angeles Times, and CMO.com. In 2018, Jennifer was named Billboard’s Branding Executive of the Year and was included within the publication’s coveted Power 100 list for the fourth consecutive year.

She has also been recognized twice by Billboard as a Branding Power Player, an R&B/Hip-Hop Power Player, and has been included on their Most Powerful Women in Music list for three consecutive years. Jennifer has been named to Variety Magazine’s Power of Women: New York Impact list twice, was recognized as a Woman to Watch by Ad Age in 2016 and was recently named to DMN’s 2019 Marketing Hall of Femme.

Jennifer is a member of the Board of Trustees for TJ Martell, the music industry’s leading foundation that funds research focused on finding treatments and cures for cancer, and serves on the No Kid Hungry Leadership Council.

As part of Jennifer’s mission to promote diversity and drive growth and progress for women, she also serves on the ANA Alliance for Multicultural and Inclusive Marketing Board of Advisors and the Advisory Board of #SeeHer, a movement that calls on marketing industry leaders to champion the accurate portrayal of females so that the images and roles they see in the media mirror the real world.

In conjunction with the ANA, Jennifer is also a member of the organization’s CMO Growth Council.
