NEW YORK, USA // Kristina Heney is Cirque du Soleil’s Chief Marketing & Experience Officer since 2015. In her role, Kristina oversees global branding, PR and Social as well as corporate shared services including Market and Business Intelligence, CRM and Digital Services.
As the Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Kristina’s mission is the growth of Cirque du Soleil brand love. In a world where people are surrounded by more than 10 000 ads per day, her ambition is to find new ways to grasp their attention. For Kristina, every aspect of how the company looks, speaks and acts must move to the rhythm of Cirque du Soleil’s brand values.
Her goal is to take the fans through an emotional journey starting when they see an ad of the newest show all the way through when they finally share their feedback in surveys or love on social media.
Prior to joining Cirque du Soleil, Kristina served as the senior vice president of sales and marketing, productions and family shows for MSG Entertainment. In this role, she oversaw sales and marketing initiatives for MSG’s 7 U.S. venues including Radio City Music Hall, as well as touring properties.
She also managed brand development, strategic positioning, revenue management and groups sales for over 3,000 events annually.
Prior to MSG Entertainment, she worked at The National Basketball Association and NBC Sports. Kristina is a graduate of Colgate University, where she majored in International Relations and Japanese and received her MBA in Marketing from Fordham University.
