BUFFALO, USA // Tiara Darnell is an award-winning audio producer, editor, and writer and returned Morocco Peace Corps volunteer based in Buffalo, NY and Portland, OR. Tiara is currently an Associate Producer working on a variety of original podcasts for Spotify Studios, as well as the lead editor of NATAL, an indie podcast about the Black maternal health crisis and having a baby while Black in the U.S.

She is also a freelance writer with bylines in Vogue, Broccoli Magazine, Willamette Week, Portland Monthly, and Travel Oregon among other publications. Her writing spans cannabis, psychedelics, food, culture, travel, health and wellness, and more.

Tiara was also a co-producer on the visual storytelling team that shot the 2019 Clio Cannabis award-winning short video, "PDX Cannabis Needs Economic Justice Now!" (NuLeaf Project, Greenbox PDX). And, in addition to casually working on her independently-produced, Society of Professional Journalists award-winning podcast, High, Good People, she is a small (ice cream) business owner.
