NEW YORK, USA // Last year’s Cannes Lions jury member and London International Awards Jury President Bernardo Romero has won 24 Cannes Lions over the past 3 years alone in 10 different categories including innovation, cyber and mobile, 20+ Clios and 4 Grand Clios, 10+ D&Ad pencils - Including the prestigious White one -, 2 Grand LIAs, 4 Gold ANDY’s, multiple One Show pencils, Facebook Awards among others.

In 2015 Romero was named number 1 Art Director in the world by Lürzer’s Archive international rankings, with more than 50 publications in the magazine to date. He was also a speaker at the 2017 Cannes Lions Festival and with a full house, he talked about how restrictions can spark innovation in healthcare.

Most recently Bernardo joined Independent Healthcare shop The Bloc, bringing meteoric growth to the agency and unprecedented creative accolades including the title of 2020 MM&M’s Agency of The Year, 2020 MM&M’s Titanium “Best in Show” Award, 7 MM&M Golds in total including one for Diversity & Inclusion, 2020 MANNY’s Agency of The year, a D&Ad pencil and more than 50 International film awards for short “Instant Doctor”, including 4 Oscar® and 1 BAFTA® Qualifying Official Selections.

Gatorade, ESPN, Budweiser, Adidas, Mitsubishi Motors, P&G, Telefonica, Nissan, Heinz, Pfizer, Itaú (the largest Latin American Bank), Lilly and Bayer are some of the brands he’s worked with.

When he’s not creating for advertising he’s creating content for TV and streaming services like the show “Incredible Proposals”, currently airing on Fox Life Brazil.
