NEW YORK, USA // Evin is a veteran sports and entertainment executive with close to 20 years of experience in identifying, building, negotiating and activating strategic marketing partnerships between brand clients and leading sports & entertainment rights holders. In his current role, Evin is responsible for overseeing the National Hockey League’s roster of 30+ corporate marketing partners in the US, with shared responsibility for managing North American and Global partners.
He returned to the NHL in 2017 for a “third tour” after spending most of the previous decade in agency client service roles, most recently at Momentum Worldwide and at GroupM ESP, where he advised brand clients on building strategic, fully integrated marketing & media partnerships across the sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing industries. Prior to his time in the agency world, Evin worked at Sports Illustrated, helping to build and launch an experiential marketing business focused around premier properties like the annual Sportsman of the Year Award Celebration and SI Swimsuit issue.
Evin is a passionate sports fan, having played soccer, lacrosse and ice hockey while growing up in New York City. He attended Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. Evin now resides in Brooklyn with his wife Michelle, two sons Liam and Colin, and canine daughter Sophie.
