LOS ANGELES, USA // Josh Kornblit is Senior Vice President of Marketing & Digital at Focus Features, a studio that acquires and produces specialty films for the global market. Joining in 2014, he’s responsible for overseeing the studio’s marketing campaigns as well as brand initiatives.
He’s worked on a diverse range of films from the Academy Award winning Promising Young Woman, Phantom Thread, and BlackKklansman to Focus Features’ highest grossing film of all time stateside in Downton Abbey. Recently, he was honored to be selected as part of Variety’s 2020 Digital Marketing Impact Report and was welcomed as a member into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Prior to Focus, Josh served as VP, Digital Marketing at FilmDistrict where he helped develop award winning campaigns for breakout hits including Olympus Has Fallen and Insidious Chapter 2.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Entertainment Marketing from the University of Southern California. He’s currently based in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
