NEW YORK, NY // Serving as Vice President, North America General Merchandising Manager – Women’s for Foot Locker Inc, Kirta Carroll is a consumer obsessed marketer turned product pro. She has over 15 years of experience across fashion and retail, healthcare and hospitality.
Having earned her degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2003, Kirta began her career within the creative and consumer agency world with companies such as Corbett Accel, The Brand Architect Group and Laughlin & Constable. She fell in love with retail marketing working for Saks Fifth Avenue doing events, PR and building relationships with local influencers in their Washington, D.C. market. While she claims she spent more than she made, the experience was pivotal – both for her taste in professional and personal style.
In 2011, Kirta joined Foot Locker, Inc. as Director of Brand Marketing for Lady Foot Locker and Footaction, then helped to launch what would become SIX:02. She led the brand and digital marketing of this women’s standalone concept for several years. Today, she takes the work and heart of serving women everywhere with better and cooler (and more) kicks into her new role, which focuses on product strategy, creation and development across the North American organization.
