RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA // Saadi is a passionate creative who highlights the insights that connect brands with their audiences—in purposeful ways, in multiple mediums. Always searching for a new skill, inspiration or perspective to add to his universal creative canvas.

His career started on Madison Avenue at McCann, in the buzzing heart of New York City, and then moved to the Middle East with TBWA and Leo Burnett. And now he is the Sr. Creative Director in Saudi Arabia for VIRTUE, the agency born out of VICE.

With over 22 years of experience, Saadi Alkouatli is the creative director at Leo Burnett Riyadh, working on top Saudi brands like DGDA, RCU, McDonald’s and Aramco.

Prior to that, he was the Senior Creative Director at TBWA\RAAD’s headquarters in Dubai, overseeing creative teams on Nissan and Infiniti’s regional accounts, Beiersdorf, Ferrari World and Unilever.

Saadi’s quest for advertising excellence began after he pursued a BFA in Advertising at the San Francisco Academy of Art University, then blossomed in New York when he started with McCann-Erickson in 1998 handling major national accounts like Johnson and Johnson, Major League Baseball and Lowe’s. Thriving in the high-achieving environment of New York City, Saadi earned a Masters degree in Media Studies from the New School University NY.

His work in all advertising mediums has garnered awards in Cannes, Clios, Lynx and NY Festivals for the respective clients as well as marketing effectiveness for its clients.

As a result, the Berlin School of Creative Leadership offered Saadi a scholarship, which he accepted, and graduated in November 2010 with an MBA in Creative Leadership.
