LONDON, UK //  Based at O&M London since 2009, Gerry’s role is to oversee the creative work on a variety of International and UK accounts, including Philips, Cadbury and Kronenbourg1664.

He has run his own highly-awarded agency, led several creative departments in the role of Executive Creative Director (in South Africa and London) and overseen the creative work on many large multinational brands; including Unilever/Dove, Virgin Atlantic, Coca Cola and Royal Philips N.V.

The period since he was appointed O&M London’s Executive Creative Director, is the most awarded in the agency’s 65-year history.

His campaign for Expedia was 2013’s “most awarded campaign in the world”, according to The Gunn Report. The campaign also collected a coveted effectiveness lion in 2014.

In 2015, Clio’s named 28 Too Many “Advertiser of the Year” after his provocative campaign against FGM swept the boards, winning a total of 15 statues, including Grand Prix.

His online campaign for Kronenbourg, “Le Big Swim” - featuring legendary footballer Eric Cantona, was the No.1 social media brand* in the UK for 2015 (*The Grocer).

He has served on many international award juries including Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show and D&AD, where he was jury foreman in 2015. He is the recipient of 51 Cannes Lions and 34 Clio Statues as well as multiple Grand Prix’s at major award shows around the world.
