SAN FRANCISCO, USA //  Karin Onsager-Birch recently returned to California as Chief Creative Officer for FCBWest where she is responsible for Levis’ Global Advertising along with that of Ghirardelli and Eli Lilly.

Karin was with the highly award winning Goodby Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco for 17 years and was Creative Director for 11 of those years (during that time “Ad Age’s agency of the Decade”). There she created award winning campaigns for Nike, Adobe, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Kayak.com and HaagenDazs and many more.

In 2012 she was recruited to lead the creative on Ford’s 500 million advertising account across Europe for WPP’s Ogilvy/Global Team Ford – the Blue Hive. During her tenure Ford’s market share surpassed that of Toyota and enjoyed a time of tremendous growth and innovation for both her client and the agency, winning a global Gold Effie and awards in mobile innovation for the launch of the Mustang in Europe.

Karin was recently a speaker at California Berkeley Haas School of Business program for Entrepreneurship and innovation and has judged numerous international award shows including Lions Eurobest, Facebook Creative Studios, The New York Art Director Show and more.
