DUBAI, UAE // Ramzi hails from the Middle East’s party capital, Beirut. Educated in England, he fell in love with advertising whilst living and working in London, Beirut and Cape Town.
He is currently the Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy Dubai, where he oversees an incredibly talented team, building brands like Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Google, UNWomen, Nestle, Dove, IKEA, Al Jazeera English, Dubai Tourisms and IBM.
Over the years Ramzi has won at all the major shows, D&AD, Cannes, One Show, Clio, LIA and NY Festival. Major highlights include taking home the first Titanium Lion in the Middle East, being the number one Creative Director at The One Show in 2014 and Ogilvy Dubai being named the Best Creative Agency in the Middle East at many of the global award shows, several years in a row.
Ramzi judged at LIA in 2014 and the Film category at Cannes in 2015. He will also be a jury for D&AD.
He is about to finish his eMBA at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership and whenever possible you’ll find him on the racetrack driving in endurance races. Together with his teammates, he’s won two World Championships in the FIA 24 Hour Endurance Series.
He stands by his philosophy that ‘if you love the job you do, you’ll never work a day in your life’.
