Older Tracks Make Big Impressions

The most Shazam’d songs of the week: June 16 - July 2

As Zedd and Alessia Cara’s “Stay” continues to drop each week on the Billboard and iTunes charts, the summer track hasn’t faltered from its top Shazam spot. Most of the songs on the Shazam list are either locked in at lower spots on top music charts or they’re older tracks that have since fallen off. But that isn’t stopping consumers from Shazaming the catchy tunes.

A few upbeat newcomers have made their way into this week’s top 10. “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man took the number two spot for VitaminWater just a few weeks after its initial release, while Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau’s cover of “Dreams” for University of Phoenix reappeared in the top 10 after more than three weeks off the list.
This week’s chart offers everything from melodic tunes to party-worthy summer jams. No matter which you prefer, it’s time to turn up the stereo.
