TORONTO, CA // Akil is a Toronto-based Digital Art Director/Designer with a portfolio showcasing experience and work for a list of international clients such as Unicef, General Motors, Häagen-Dazs and Humane Society International, just to name a few.

Hailing from the island of Barbados, Akil always had a yearning for a challenge from a young age which led him to the city of Toronto to further develop his creative muscle and try his hand at healthcare advertising. However, his island home will always be the place he seeks out in order to recharge and refocus.

His priority is to ensure that his work has the most positive impact not only for his clients but on the lives of their audiences hence his creative efforts in the healthcare and non-profit spaces.
