JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA // Having completed his studies at the AAA School of Advertising in Johannesburg in 1999, André gained valuable experience at a number of creative agencies before joining Ogilvy Healthworld as Senior Art Director in 2009. An accomplished designer with solid knowledge of medical advertising practices, his conceptual abilities, attention to detail and inherent talent for creating beautiful imagery make him an invaluable asset to his team in South Africa. André recently joined an esteemed panel of healthcare advertising experts where they had to comment and answer questions about some hand-picked global healthcare campaigns. Over the years he has defined and improved identities and campaigns for numerous well known local and international brands. Gaining international exposure in the Ogilvy group, he recently spent six months in Mauritius where he lead the creative team at Maurice Publicité Ogilvy and Mather. André finds inspiration in anything creative and has a keen interest in photography, typography, illustration and architecture.
