LOS ANGELES, USA // Andrew’s career in graphic design started at an early age. Just after his 14th birthday he started ‘freelancing’ for his mum’s design firm on nights and weekends. While the extra pocket money did come in handy, there was only so much Letraset burnishing one kid could take, so when the opportunity came, he promptly left home and enrolled in art school in Brighton, England. 

In 1994 Andrew won a Green Card in a lottery! So without hesitation he moved to the States and quickly adopted Los Angeles as his new home. Soon afterward he was hired at Frankfurt Balkind, where he began to learn the craft of movie poster design.

Over the course of the following years, Andrew continued to flourish in the entertainment design business; by the turn of the millennium he was Creative Director at Crew Creative Advertising; in 2006 he founded the Print Division at Mojo; and most recently, in 2012, established his own agency, Percival & Associates.

Having won numerous awards for his work and that of his team, Andrew continues to create striking and unique work for the film and television industries. He is honored to have been selected as a chair of the jury panel for this year’s CLIO Key Art Awards, and is looking forward to seeing all the fantastic work that’s been created this past year.
