LONDON, UK // Writing about himself in the third person has always brought Andy much joy, which is why he writes his own bio today for everyone to marvel at. Of course, he knows that the actual truth is that no one else wanted to write it for him, but no one else would know that if he did some kind of funny paragraph or two to detract from the fact it wasn’t professionally written and based on his own opinion of himself… With over 15 years’ experience working in the film and TV marketing world, Andy has seen some shit, won some stuff and most importantly enjoyed at least 85% of what he does. Always viewing his experience as constant chances to hone his craft, to grow and always deliver the best creative possible. Now, after establishing his own agency with his Co-Founder and business partner John Piedot in 2017, Andy can mentor and instil this skill set into the people and culture at Silk Factory. Awards and recognition are a great thing, especially if there is a stretch limo and champagne involved. However, Andy’s happiest and proudest moments to date on his journey have been seeing the team at Silk Factory flourish and grow. Creativity doesn’t always come from a happy place, but Silk Factory is passionate about fighting to keep the environment our creativity comes from as collaborative and happy as humanly possible. So, Andy now prides himself on refining this too, making him almost as happy as writing about himself in the third person.
