BROOKLYN, USA // Annika Hansteen-Izora is the Creative Director of Somewhere Good, Ethel’s Club, and Form No Form, three companies centered on celebrating joy, wellness, and the experiences of people of color. Beginning her career in UX Strategy and Research, Annika pivoted to creative and has supported art direction and design across product, brand, and UI design for brands such as MTV, Samsung, Intel, HP, Jaguar Land Rover, and others.
Bringing together her backgrounds in poetry, design, and tech, Annika’s work explores the intersections of design, culture, art. As a multimedia artist, Annika uses poetry, design, and performance to explore themes of communal care, Blackness, joy, queerness, and technology, with forthcoming exhibitions by the McNay Modern Art Museum and her first book with Co-Conspirator Press.
Their work has been featured by Vogue, It’s Nice That, AIGA Eye on Design, and others.
