LOS ANGELES, USA // Award-winning creative executive Anthony Armenise, Head of Television and Streaming at Buddha Jones, joined the company in 2014. In this position, Armenise oversees all of the company’s creative and strategic marketing partnerships with some of television’s most powerful brands, including HBO, USA, TBS, TNT, ABC, The CW, Amazon and Netflix.
Prior to his arrival at Buddha Jones, Armenise served as Senior Vice President, On-Air Promotions at NBC Entertainment, overseeing drama, comedy, unscripted/reality, movies and specials. Over his nearly three-year tenure at NBC, Armenise spearheaded the week-to-week creative development on hundreds of programs, including hits and/or Emmy Award winners such as “The Voice,” “The Blacklist,” “Parks and Recreation,” “The Office” and “30 Rock.”
Armenise also served as Senior Vice President, On-Air Promotions for Lifetime Networks from 2008 to 2011. In this capacity, he led all strategic and creative development and branding initiatives spanning on-air promotions, consumer marketing, print, design, integrated marketing and partnerships for original and acquired programming.
Prior to joining Lifetime in 2008, Armenise was Senior Creative Executive, On-Air Promotions and Marketing for The CW, where he was involved with the launch and ongoing promotion of the hit series “Gossip Girl,” “America’s Next Top Model,” “One Tree Hill” and “Supernatural.”
From 2004-05, Armenise was a Producer/Writer for ABC Entertainment. While there he launched “Lost.”
He started his career at E! Entertainment as an intern, before rising through the ranks to become a Senior Producer/Writer for On-Air Promotions.
Armenise received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television from University of California San Diego.
