ATLANTA, USA // Bret Havey oversees all on-air promotions and creative initiatives for the two networks, with a focus on providing a premium brand experience across all screens and platforms. He also works closely with colleagues across the networks to ensure consistent and contextually relevant brand positioning.
Havey, who joined Turner in 2005, most recently served as vice president, creative director for TBS, supervising the overall creative look and voice for the top-rated network. Prior to being named to that position in 2008. In his role, he produced on-air promos and other promotional elements for TBS, including the award-winning creative that heralded the arrival of Conan O’Brien to the network.
Havey came to TBS from ABC Family, where he also served as vice president, creative director. He previously worked as a creative consultant on projects for various cable networks, including TBS, TNT, CNN, HBO, USA, Disney Channel, Oxygen, G4 and Discovery. Havey also served as a writer/producer of promotional materials for ABC and VH1. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
