LOS ANGELES, USA // During his 20 years working in the music business, Bruce Flohr has continued to evolve. After running the nationally recognized college radio station KCPR, Flohr joined RCA Records as head of Alternative Promotion, where he guided the careers of numerous bands.
He then moved into a dual A&R/Marketing position at RCA and signed Dave Matthews Band and Foo Fighters.
In 2002, he switched gears and joined Coran Capshaw and Dave Matthews Band at Red Light Management and ATO Records which roster includes Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, among others. Recently, Bruce has been directly involved in the careers of The Dave Matthews Band, The Band Perry, Miley Cyrus, Keke Palmer, and Switchfoot.
Bruce is also a founding partner in the music media company GreenLight. GreenLight’s mission is to put together an experience that creates a culture between a brand and music. They work with clients such as AMEX, Under Armour, and Hyundai to build exclusive music driven campaigns.
Bruce’s previous speaking engagements include Red Bull, Under Armour, RCA records, Midem, SXSW, MuseExpo, Birchbox, and the Grammy Foundation, among others.
Lastly, Flohr works closely with many new technology companies such as BandPage, 8tracks, and TeeSpring to help them establish traction within the music space.
