CHICAGO, USA // Caroline is Golin’s chief creative officer responsible to deliver the agency’s ambition: brave, relevant work worthy of awe, action and awards. With 20+ years of experience delivering award-winning creative campaigns for McDonald’s, Clif Bar, Humana and Unilever among others.
Caroline is also the founder of Have Her Back, Golin’s progressive stance – and call out to our entire industry – to welcome female creatives back and propel all women’s careers forward.
The Have Her Back movement is grounded in three actions: Training, Hiring and Creating Cultures of Empower- ment – so that by 2020, Golin’s creative leadership team will be 50% men and 50% women. Have Her Back is more than just a hashtag; it’s a hustle. And through external partnerships and trainings, she is helping others strive for the same.
In 2018, Caroline was honored by the 3% Conference with the Three Cheers Award for advancing diversity and she was also recognized as an inaugural Female Frontier Award recipient as a champion of change by Campaign US. In 2017, she was selected as PR jurist at the Cannes Lions Festival.
YOU MAY NOT KNOW…
A former New Yorker, Caroline has come to terms with living (and loving) Chicago, including the adoption of deep dish pizza, a Midwestern accent, the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears. But even after twenty years, she still misses Broadway, bagels and NY style pizza, not necessarily in that order.
