RALEIGH, USA // Cato Cataldo is the Senior Creative Director for the Carolina Hurricanes, where he leads a team specializing in design, photography, video, motion design, and more. He excels in fully integrated in-house marketing campaigns that fuse culture, music, and art to tell compelling stories.
With over 20 years in sports and entertainment, Cato has worked for teams in all four major US pro leagues. His notable projects include hosting the 2017 MLB All-Star Game in Miami while with the Marlins, contributing to three World Series appearances (2022 World Series Champion) with the Astros, several team rebrands (Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins) alternate uniform launches, including an MLB record-breaking Nike City Connect launch, and hosting the 2023 NHL Stadium Series game.
Before his sports career, Cato was a successful club and radio DJ in Miami, performing at some of the world’s biggest music festivals and releasing music, including four compilations under the premier dance label Ultra Records. He was also nominated for three International Dance Music Awards.
Cato is a distinguished US Army veteran who served in Bosnia and Macedonia as an M1A1 Abrams tank crewman. His diverse experiences and strategic vision make him a unique voice and leader in sports and entertainment branding.
