NEW YORK, USA // Deborah Curtis is Vice President of Global Experiential Marketing and Partnerships at American Express. She leads the company’s strategic marketing alliances, engagement platforms and experiential events across sports, fashion, and entertainment.
Curtis is responsible for the leadership of partnerships with Live Nation Entertainment, AEG, Coachella, The Bowery Presents, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Golden State Warriors, Seattle Seahawks, United States Tennis Association, United States Golf Association, among others.
Through her impactful music programs, including American Express Unstaged and Artists in Residence, Curtis was recently named a Top Woman in Music by Billboard for the fourth consecutive year. She was also recently named one of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School 50 Forward Alumni in Communications and Variety’s 2016 Power Woman of New York List.
Curtis is an accomplished brand management and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in lifestyle marketing for some of the world’s most respected brands.
Curtis holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, and a bachelor of science in advertising from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
