Drew Elliott is one of the most sought after creative minds in media today. As Chief Creative Officer of Paper Communications, he orchestrated the famous content social distribution strategy #breaktheinternet which drove 50 million people to papermag.com As a graduate of the prestigious Gallatin School at NYU, he developed a keen sense of what drives popular culture and how it impacts the masses. While at Gallatin, Drew pursued his passion as a cultural barometer working at PAPER and eventually heading up the creative service and marketing group and building an in-house agency Extra Extra.In 2007, Drew left PAPER to lead the brand experience division of Ketchum Inc. He later joined the LA social media and digital branding firm theAudience, an early stage social content distribution agency funded by Sean Parker and Ari Emanuel. Drew returned to PAPER as Chief Creative Officer in 2013 and today oversees all creative direction of Paper Magazine, Papermag.com, and the in-house agency Extra Extra whose client roster includes American Express, Absolut, DreamWorks and Google.Drew has been asked to speak on digital innovation and the role of technology in marketing by some of the world’s top brands including Frito-Lay and Target.
