FRANKFURT, GERMANY // Elke believes in the power of ideas and that technology enables creativity. The digital age has fundamentally changed not only communications but also the role of brands – and of agencies. We live in the conversation age where brands need to play a meaningful role in people’s lives.

That defines her approach with McCann and MRM//McCann, where she became Chief Creative Officer in April 2014.

Elke has enjoyed working for some of the most creative agencies in advertising and digital marketing in Germany. She was Creative Director at Jung von Matt in Hamburg before she moved to Razorfish as Executive Creative Director. She has received numerous national and international awards for her work, and has been nominated as a jury member of leading Creative Award Shows.

In 2013 Elke was recognized by the Industry Press as one of the top 10 female leaders in the German Market. She also accepted a temporary professorship of Interaction Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen, which provided the opportunity to empower young talents and guide them towards their own creative career.
