SANTA MONICA, USA // Eric Alexander recently joined Universal Music Group as VP Global Consumer Marketing Team, leading consumer-focused initiatives and brand strategy for the organization. Prior to UMG he helped create the Artist Marketing team at Spotify, working both as the Head of North America for Artist Marketing and the Artist and Label Marketing Lead across all Universal Music Group labels.
Eric spearheaded some of the companies most innovative Artist Marketing campaigns to date including work with Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Drake, Prince and Shawn Mendes. He also worked on campaigns and cultural initiatives at Spotify including Wrapped, Pride and āIām With The Banned.ā Eric began his career in Advertising, creating music marketing campaigns across clients for Deutsch LA and CP+B.
