NEW YORK, USA // Greg Collins is a freelance copywriter by trade and a creative director by tenure. He’s also the co-founder of Overdog, a creative consultancy built to give agencies and brands the unfair advantage of working with top-notch tenured talent.
Greg’s sweated the adjectives at great agencies like BBDO, GSD&M, R/GA and TBWAChiatDay, as well as some other amazing ones that don’t go by any founders’ initials whatsoever, including 72&Sunny, Arnold, Cutwater and David&Goliath. Lately, he’s probably best known for his ongoing collaboration with L&C New York as their guest ECD — a prolific partnership born in the cheese aisle of a local supermarketlong story).
On the global stage, Greg has earned three Grand Clios, the Cannes Grand Prix and a Titanium Finalist nod. He has also won numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions and Clios, multiple Gold and Green Pencils at The One Show and White and Yellow Pencils at D&AD. Outside of advertising, Greg’s work has been nominated for an Emmy, featured in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas, recognized at the United Nations SDG Summit and archived in the permanent collection at MoMA.
Greg lives in New York City with a part-time dog and a full-time plant.
