DUBLIN, IRELAND // Born and raised in Brazil, with experience working in London, New York and Los Angeles, Gui believes great work comes from an explosive combination of thinking, passion, craft and collective courage.
A designer by trade, Gui has worked with a variety of brands and campaigns throughout his career, including Starbucks, adidas, Nike, Google, Sonos, Barack Obama, YouTube and Tillamook.
From helping create Starbucks’ first-ever brand campaign that was filmed in 28 countries in one day, to more recently leading the team advising Los Angeles’s 2024 Olympics bid, creating its official logo, its website and campaign films, Gui purposefully rejects having an identifiable style.
Outside of work, Gui published his first book with Chronicle Books and is currently designing a chronological poster series that centers on cultural moments from 1965 to current day.
