SINGAPORE // With more than 100 advertising awards under his belt, Gui has done a range of work over 3 continents.
Brazilian born, he left home at just 25 to join one of Australia’s hottest agencies, with the title of Young Guns and as one of the most awarded copywriters in his home country. At that point, his work had already received nods from major festivals around the globe such as Cannes, One Show, Clios, Spikes, El Ojo, Effies and Webbys.
In Australia, Gui continued his disruptive thinking for clients like McDonalds, Virgin Airlines, eBay, Volskwagen and many others.
He’s helped DDB Sydney, Clemenger BBDO, and McCann Melbourne create award- winning work that got featured in The Washington Post, CNN, and Fast Company, just to name a few.
He’s proud to have been able to work with a very talented team, having created one of the most awarded campaigns in the country in 2020.
Since joining BLKJ Havas in 2021, Gui has led the agency to greater creative heights. Within just a year, Gui has brought in new major businesses and delivered world-class work. Gui became the first Executive Creative Director in the newly-merged agency.
He truly believes his best work is still ahead of him.
