James was a founding member of R/GA London, growing the agency to 220 people and forging partnerships with brands such as Beats by Dre, Disney, Google, Heineken, Nike and Unilever. With his leadership the agency has won every major creative award including Gold Lions, Clios, Pencils, LIA’s, and a Eurobest Grand Prix. R/GA London has been awarded Campaign’s Innovation Agency of the Year and first runner up on Ad Age’s Global Creativity Innovators of the Year. The London agency’s work has also been core to R/GA being awarded AdWeek and AdAge Agency of the Year.
Most recently James has led R/GA’s partnership with Beats by Dre, developing award winning integrated campaigns and the branding, design and marketing of Beats Music, the service at the center of Apple’s largest acquisition.
