NEW YORK, USA // Jay Marrotte is Head of Creative for ESPN’s in-house creative studio, Creative Works where he oversees a portfolio of work that consists of Co-Branded Content and select ESPN marketing initiatives. The output of his team helps to drive close to billion dollars in ad revenue for the Walt Disney/ESPN company.
He started his career with stints at JWT, Saatchi and Digitas before moving over to ESPN to help build up their internal creative capabilities, where he has been for the last eight years. At ESPN, his team sits at the intersection of Sports, Entertainment and culture where they work with clients to help make their brands relevant to sports fans across the world.
Jay has won numerous awards spanning all the major shows, he is Emmy nominated and he also led the charge that brought back the iconic This is SportsCenter campaign in 2018. He has extensive experience working with athletes, celebrities and his personal favorite mascots; because mascots make everything better.
Jay graduated from the School of Visual Arts, at the top of his class with a degree in Advertising / Graphic Design.
