CHICAGO, USA // An industry expert, John has been involved in sports and alliance marketing for more than 20 years as, both client and agency representative.  For the past 11 years, John has been leading McDonald’s alliance marketing department. Responsibilities include outlining McDonald’s strategic direction, negotiating, implementing, and managing the company’s alliance portfolio.

John started in the industry 22 years ago at the Upper Deck Company where he was responsible for developing corporate promotional and incentive programs.

At McDonald’s, John is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company when it comes to its alliance portfolio Globally, Nationally and Regionally. He oversees the development of alliance activation and is responsible for the negotiation and relationship management of all McDonald’s alliances and athlete/celebrity relationships. McDonald’s current alliance relationships include The Olympics, World Cup, Euro Cup, McDonald’s All American Basketball, NFL, NHL, Earnhardt/Ganassi Motorsports, Jamie McMurry, Alex Morgan.
