LOS ANGELES, USA // Jordan Lowy is the Global Head of Music Publishing Licensing and Partnerships at TikTok and ByteDance, leading the company’s licensing, business development, and partnership efforts across the music publishing space. Having joined TikTok/ByteDance in 2018, he was the first international music publishing executive to join the company in the post-Musical.ly era, building a team that spans multiple continents. In his role, Jordan has helped develop and launch such music-intensive products as TikTok, TikTok Music, Resso, SoundOn, CapCut, Ripple and more. Prior to TikTok, Jordan spent over 15 years as a music publisher, namely with Universal Music Group and Walt Disney Studios. He is a published music journalist, having worked at BPM Magazine and other publications, and a composer and producer with releases on San Francisco’s Loöq Records and beyond.
