Seattle, USA // Justin Burks is Director of WW Sports Marketing and Strategic Programs at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In this role he leads the development and execution of AWS’s global sports marketing strategy, and the ongoing management of all AWS partnerships in the sports and entertainment categories. Justin launched AWS Sports Marketing in 2015 with AWS’s landmark partnership with Major League Baseball, and under his leadership the program has grown to include partnerships with Live Nation Entertainment, National Football League, Formula 1, Six Nations Rugby Championship, and LA Clippers.
Justin and his team are responsible for the ongoing management and oversight of these partnerships. His team is also responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and closing new sports marketing partnerships with prominent sports brands around the world.
In prior roles at Amazon, Justin founded AWS’s global partner program (AWS Partner Network), and launched strategic partnerships with a range of global consultancies and system integrators including Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, and others.
Justin holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and a BA from University of Pennsylvania. He currently lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and four children.
