NEW YORK, USA // Kelly Clark is Executive Design Director at Smart Design. With a rich heritage in humanizing technology, Kelly leads the strategic design company’s interaction design practice, helping Smart to launch category-defining products and services that are at the intersection of technology, industrial and digital design.

A seasoned creative leader with over 20 years of experience in user-centered product design and customer experience, Kelly previously served as VP of Design at Originate. In addition, she ran her own award-winning digital design studio in San Francisco and held creative leadership roles in both large agencies and in-house.

In addition to acting as juror for the UX Awards, Kelly is an active member of IxDA, AIGA and UX mentorship programs. Her work has won numerous accolades, including SxSW, One Show, W3, WebAward and Forbes Best of the Web. She also holds the unique claim to fame for designing the first interactive ad banner to appear on the web.
