LOS ANGELES, USA // Kenny was born and raised in East London. In 1987 he moved to New York City to pursue a career in graphic design. He quickly found his niche in the music industry and started out in the art department at Def Jam Records where he met his soon to be wife, DeAnna. He designed album packages for the likes of Public Enemy, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. After five successful years at Def Jam Records, hemade his move to MCA Records where he quickly became the Vice President of Creative Services after relocating to Los Angeles.
In 2000, Kenny and his wife/business partner, DeAnna launched Gravillis Inc. with the goal of it becoming a boutique graphic design studio that would visually communicate challenging and thought-provoking ideas for the underestimated savvy consumer. With the state of the music industry declining in 2006, Kenny re-directed his focus towards theatrical and television campaigns. Gravillis Inc. now predominately works on advertising campaigns for the entertainment industry. They currently work with companies such as Netflix, 20th Century Fox, Magnolia, Disney, Amazon, HBO, The Weinstein Company, Warner Bros., and more.
Uninhibited by genre or scope, this boutique design studio has worked on titles including Logan, Hidden Figures, 50 Shades of Grey, Straight Outta Compton as well as art-house favorites such as Kiss of the Damned, Only God Forgives and DOPE.
