LOS ANGELES, USA // Kerstin Emhoff is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PRETTYBIRD, a hybrid production company with a diverse roster of directors, creatives, and collaborators generating inspiring content for all forms of entertainment, and Ventureland, a creative studio and idea accelerator that develops entertainment properties, advertising campaigns, and original IP alongside filmmakers, studios, and brands.
Recognized for her successful and enduring relationships with top agencies, clients, artists, and managers, Emhoff has built PRETTYBIRD into one of the world’s most prestigious production companies in branded storytelling. Some of PRETTYBIRD’s esteemed honors include multiple Cannes Grand Prix, D&ADs, Clios, AICPs, MTV’s Video of the Year, Grammy and Emmy awards — and notably, being named Ad Age’s Production Company of year – twice – in 2015 and 2021. With Ventureland, Emhoff is expanding her focus on creating compelling and meaningful original content across genres and platforms, with recent films “The Rescue” and “The Real Charlie Chaplin” premiering at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and TIFF.
In addition to her award-winning commercial production work, Emhoff is also committed to diversifying the industry on a global scale through Pipelines, an app designed to address and combat the disconnect between underrepresented talent and the entertainment, creative, and tech industries in a meaningful and effective way. Emhoff, together with PRETTYBIRD President Ali Brown, was also named a finalist for Creativity’s Diversity & Inclusion Champions of the Year for 2021.
