LOUISVILLE, USA // With nearly two decades of experience in developing and activating partnership programs, Kristin Warfield is a visionary leader with a strategic mindset focused on driving results through creativity and innovation. Warfield enters her seventh year at Churchill Downs Racetrack as the Vice President of Sales & Partnerships, responsible for oversight of the venue’s sponsorship, licensing, hospitality and group sales initiatives. She has championed significant growth in the track’s partnership development and activation efforts that include new relations with Longines, the official timekeeper of the Kentucky Derby and title sponsor of the Longines Kentucky Oaks; RAM, the official truck of the Kentucky Derby; GH Mumm, the official champagne of the Kentucky Derby; Chateau Saint Michelle, Panasonic and Grey Goose, as well as extended alliances with Yum! Brands, Brown-Forman and Anheuser-Busch.
Warfield oversees the growing partnership program at the historic track that, since 1875, has been the home of the Kentucky Derby, America’s greatest race and a spectacular annual celebration of fashion, food and fun. Before joining Churchill Downs, Warfield held posts with ASA Entertainment, where she served as vice president of partnerships; the American Automobile Association (AAA), where she was director of motorsports; and International Speedway Corp., where she worked as senior director of marketing partnerships.
Warfield earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Stetson University and her MBA from Colorado State University. She has been married since 1999 and is the proud mother of three daughters and one son, ages 14, 12, 9 and 5. Warfield also serves on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville, KY and as Board Chair for the Center for Women and Families in Louisville, KY.
