NEW YORK, USA // Laura began her career as a genetic counselor. During that time she was part of the first prenatal diagnosis of Zellweger syndrome–co-authoring an article on her findings. By day she worked in the pediatrics and ob/gyn departments; by night she wrote and created brochures for patients and physicians. Her success with the written word led her into healthcare advertising.
Laura’s advertising work has spanned virtually every therapeutic category and platform. She’s launched brands in the US and globally, from orphan drugs for rare diseases to billion-dollar drugs with multiple indications. As a creative director, Laura has guided major professional and patient campaigns at different agencies for clients including Amgen, AstraZeneca, BMS, Genentech, Novartis, Pfizer, and Sanofi—to name a few. And Laura’s creative campaigns have been honored by the Rx Club, MM&M, MedAdNews, Doctor’s Choice, PharmaVoice, Global Awards, and others.
Laura’s work on over 20 oncology drugs exemplifies her passion for helping HCPs and patients understand various cancers and treatments. This was amplified in her work for the CancerCare Thrift Shop.
Laura is passionate about guiding both creatives and creative work. Every step of the way, from developing strategies to executing provocative creative campaigns, she never stops trying to make work better.
