NEW YORK, USA // Based in Barcelona, Lauren splits her time between Spain and New York. She works as an Experience Designer and Director of Product Design at Area 23. At the core of her process, she centers humans first, believing function should be considered before form. Her passion is to creatively develop solutions that push systemic change for innovative organizations, big or small.
Lauren brings almost twenty years of professional experience to a wide range of clients; from global branding agencies and international athletic companies to start-ups and non-profits. She has a strong background in branding, marketing, creative problem-solving and experiential design.
Lauren has participated in many workshops, mutual aid efforts and programs throughout her career, including The Center for Urban Pedagogy as a Public Access Design Fellow, Project M, Project M+Winterhouse, AIGA Youth Design Boston, COMMON, OpenIDEO: Open Innovation, Brooklyn and Boston Skillshares, BetterGrads, Transforme, Rochester Community Darkroom, Food Shift and most recently Urban Asanas based in Brooklyn New York. Her work has been recognized by several organizations, including BART Blue Sky for two consecutive years, In-HOWse Design Awards, Good Design, Environment, OX Show and the Addy Awards.
